Aiguille d’Eboulement – South couloir 14.02.2008

3599 m ; 500 m 45°- 50° ; South ; D+ ; 5.1/ E2

This descent, at the far end of the Leschaux glacier, in front of the majestic north face of the Grandes Jorasses is far from the crowd and is a good south facing riding training.
I went with two skiers, my friends Colin and Magnus..an American, a Swedish and an Italian.
Has been pretty hilarious.
We took the last bin up the Midi and slept at the Leschaux Hut

Colin was not feeling too well so he stopped half way up and waited for us there.
