Yesterday at 4 pm the ski comunity lost one of its hero, Felix Hentz.
I lost a brother, another fallen soldier friend in “the conquest of the useless.”
Beside of being one of the most talented skier I ever had the pleasure to ride with, Felix was a superpositive person, a real source of inspiration to all of us.
I’m so glad to have had the chance to cross your path and share with you some of the most exciting adventures I ever had on the mountain.
You were such a strong energetic person that loved to get people involved with your fantastic ideas such as great evenings, exciting trips/outings, as well as adventurous expeditions.
“Patience is the companion of wisdom, take care and enjoy life” you used to say…
Your life has been short but fully lived ; in 29 years you lived experiences of a man’ s life.
You were such a generous person that brought together so many people from so many nationalities and always in such good spirit ; I will miss our tea and coffee time on your balcony talking about new adventures around the world.
You left anr unbridgeable gap in our hearts and lives and with your actions and love you showed me what a real friend is.
You were a free soul, living your dreams till the end and you left doing what you loved the most.
I hope you are shredding some good powpow over there.
“ Un des grandes malheure de la vie moderne, c’est le manque d’ imprévu, l’absence d’aventures.” (Théophile Goutier).
“One of the biggest illnesses of modern life, is the lack of the unexpected, the absence of adventures”
